LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL! – This page will basically group together a large number of posts dealing with a very wide range of things associated with good times, fun stuff and Pop Culture – past, present and maybe even a little into the future.

Pop Culture (short for “popular culture”) may be a little difficult to explain, due largely to the fact that it’s perpetually changing as time goes on, as we grow older, and things are ever evolving ….. It’s what’s happening around us each and everyday. It encompasses a lot of territory – the styles and trends in clothing and fashions, the movies and television shows we watch, the music we listen to, the books and magazines we read, the vehicles we drive, the words or terminology we use everyday, the games we play (board games, video games, outdoor games), the places we visit and the memories we take with us ….. It’s all a part of our popular culture. It’s a reflection of our past childhood memories, a retro feel of sorts, like missing a lot of the things we grew up with. It’s constantly being redefined as we grow older.We see what is popular or trendy each and every day no matter where we go or what you do. The media plays a huge part in this and thus becomes a major influence……probably even more-so today than in years gone by ….. billboards, TV, radio, newspapers, magazine ads and articles, the world wide web.We are being bombarded by images of the trendiest fashion models, celebrity endorsements, the latest previews and releases of movies and TV, sporting events, medications, nutrition, health foods, the latest gadgets and technology, becoming more environmentally conscious and even how to save the planet….. how we look, how we dress, what we watch, where we shop as well as what we buy, where we travel to, what we eat, what we drive, what we do for fun and entertainment. All of the above defines what popular culture is today. It starts when we are infants, continues as toddlers through adolescents, teens, young adults into middle age and into our senior years. It seems that as we grow older, we yearn for the fond memories of our youth, a more peaceful and innocent time, the rubiks_cube things that gave us happiness and security. Every generation goes through this eventually, but the memories are obviously different with each passing one. Hopefully, this explanation hasn’t confused you even more than ever as what appears below is an accumulation of everything mentioned above…… :)
