Gallery of Famous Cartoon Cat Characters Over The Years

Alright CAT lovers everywhere, here’s the long awaited counterpart to the dog list I presented several years back….. about 7 years ago to be exact. The canine post became one of the all-time most popular posts on this site (according to the overall visitor count)

disney-cat-collageOnce again – a little intro… Nostalgia tends to take center stage when it comes to collective thoughts of your favorite childhood felines over the years.  Over the years you’ve encountered cats of various shapes, sizes, colors, spieces as well as dispositions in all sorts of media…..TV, movies, childrens books, comic books, billboards, commercials, advertisements, video games, brand name mascots, products, toys, etc. We’ve been exposed to a sensory overload of images – which kept us entertained. A lot of those memories were embedded in our minds on those Saturday morning cartoons. It’s kinda funny how you’ll remember many of these characters that you haven’t thought about in ages once you come across some of the images below.

So with that being said, there should be quite a number of familiar pictures below that all cat-collagegenerations will recognize, or I should say, American TV audiences primarily, from the pre-1940’s through the present. I’m sure there are some of these that you may still enjoy. The following gallery captures the majority of those felines that really stood out over the years. Many of these can be traced back to the early days of television (1940’s), (a few are even currently on the air). Some evolved from movies, others from the comic strips and funny pages (with many of these dating back to the 1920’s-1930’s). Many classic Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Warner Brothers, MGM, Terrytunes, Nicktoons, Looney Tunes, etc.

Keep in mind that these not only cover house cats but also include the big kitty cats too….. lions, tigers, leopards, panthers, cheetahs, wildcats, cougars, lynx, puma, etc.

Quite a few of these famous feline critters make us laugh with their quirky, irreverent, unique, carefree, styles which we never seem to tire of over the years. Hopefully your favorite is included below. If not, let me know and I’ll see what I can do to find them.

Find The Hidden Images

What you originally see at first glance is not necessarily all there is to a picture — Sometimes there’s a lot more to see if you only take the time to examine them more carefully. So — with that thought in mind, take a good first or second look at the following images and discover what there really is — hidden deep within.

Enjoy & Good Luck 😛

Can You Find The Hidden Images In These Pictures?

“The Heart of The Matter” — Can you find 7 disguised heart-shaped objects in this drawing?

“Discovery Paradise” — Several animals and faces lie hidden throughout this incredible landscape — How many can you find and identify?

“Wolf Mountain” — In this dramatic scene, can you find 15 wolves?

“Ocean Rose” — Can you find the dolphin hidden within this rose?

“Purple Mountain” — Can you find and identify the various animals within this work of art?

“Horse Canyon” — In this beautiful work of art can you find all 14 horses?

“Deer Winter” — Can you locate all 11 deer hidden within this work of art?

“Dolphin Cove” — Swimming or hiding within this picture are 7 dophins — Can you find them all?

“The Puzzled Fox” — Hidden within this forest scene are several different spieces of animals — How many can you find and identify?

“Sounds of Music” — There is more music here than meets the eye. The statue on the left of this painting is obvious. But there is also another person playing music. Where is he, and what musical instrument is he playing ?

“Swan Lake” — In this tranquil setting of Swan Lake, there is actually music playing. Can you find all the members of the orchestra performing with their instruments?

“Serene Lake” — In this reflective and peaceful lake there are a couple of hidden people – Can you find them both?

Can you locate the hidden baby image within this picture of a young couple thinking what the future may hold?

“Dream Baby” — Can you find the hidden image of a baby within this picture of a young couple dreaming about what the future may bring?

“Facing The Deep” — Lots of scuba divers pictured here — some obvious — some not — Can you find the facial images of two of the divers within the depths of this photo?

“The Hidden Tiger” – Can you find the hidden tiger in this pic? This one may elude you if you don’t look carefully

“The Atlas Cow” — Can you find anything peculiar about this bovine?

“Animal Falls” — There are 15 animals hidden in this drawing – Can you find a deer, buffalo, possum, ape, fox, horse, dog, wolf, bear, eagle, turkey, bobcat, dinosaur, lamb, and raccoon?

“Face In A Beanstack” — Can you find the hidden human face in this pile of beans? — Time yourself — See if you can find it in under 10 seconds

“Dueling Images” — Look closely and you’ll find three impressive things about this drawing. On the left you see a hand that’s holding the page on which it’s drawn. At first glance it looks as if there is also a hand on the right, but when you look closer it’s a ballerina. Lastly, the legs of the ballerina are actually behind the page to give you the impression she is wearing the page as a skirt.

“Beach Party” — This one is from an actual ad campaign — It’s just for fun and makes you look twice! — There’s a lot happening here in this beach party scene — Lots of “suggestive” poses but if you look carefully enough, you’ll find that it’s perfectly innocent. Can you find all the precarious situations?

Sharpen Your Visual Skills With These Optical Illusions

Sharpen Your Visual Skills With These Optical Illusions & Visual Challenges

Give yourself a little break from your daily routine or online activities and try to sharpen up your eyesight and brain functions by checking out these mind stimulaters, visual challenges and optical illusions. Each image has a caption below it explaining what to do or what to look for. Good Luck & Enjoy 🙂

“3 In 1” – Can you find all 3 different faces in this drawing?

The image appears to change from people to houses as you look at it from top to bottom – You might wanna call this one a “neighborhood watch group” 😛

This colorful 3D type spiderweb image gives the impression of pulsating or throbbing and has the potential for a sure-fire way to get a quick headache 😛 But it’s sure trippy looking!

Do you see 2 animals above? Which animal do you see first in this drawing? a cat or a mouse?

This cool image gives off a 3D effect of a throw pillow, bulging in the middle, covered in alternating black & white “X’s”

“The Hidden Tiger” – Can you find the hidden tiger in this pic? This one may elude you if you don’t look carefully! I will give you a hint only if you comment below and ask for one 😛

“The Bicyclist” – Do you get a sense of “forward motion” if you stare at the entire image long enough?

Can you figure out what’s not quite right about this picture here in this weird but tranquil pool scene?

Study this one carefully – Would you consider this a parade of ships or an ocean gateway?

Look very carefully — Do you see a profile of an old man’s face? — Look even closer — The entire picture is made up of several animal faces or heads — How many animal faces or heads can you find?

Here’s another picture of a human face looking straight at you – If you look closely once again, it’s created entirely from animals – How many can you count?

Here’s a cool advertising illusion (possibly from Germany). Can you figure out how it was accomplished?

Is this image straight or curved? — Don’t let your eyes deceive you 🙂

How many facial images can you find in the above sketch?

“Checker Shadow Illusion” – Would you believe that the squares marked “A” and “B” are the same shade of gray.

“The Never-Ending Loop” – Where does it start? Where does it end?

If you stare at the blue dot in the center long enough, it will eventual be overpowering enough to fade away or disappear completely.

“Alternating Dots” – Can you focus your eyes long enough to count the black dots? 😛

“Crazy Stairs Illusion” – You keep walking and walking and walking and… (good exercise though) 😛

“Dual Image” – Can you see both a demonic-type face as well as a person looking down at a book reading?

“Face or Hands”?? – A facial image made up entirely of people’s hands – How many hands can you count in this artistic pic?

“Twin Image Deception” – Examine both windows – What do you see? – A closed fist or a naked woman hugging her baby tightly? – This one will definitely play tricks with your eyes 😛

Speaking of playing tricks on your eyes… You might call this one the “Headache Illusion” – Are you able to focus your eyes on this image at all?

Look carefully – How many wolves can you find hidden in this forest drawing?

Take a close look – How many horses can you find hidden in the beautiful painting above?

“National Leaders Tree” – Can you find all 10 faces of world leaders looking at each other “face-to-face” in this strange but unique tree above?

Study this picture carefully – There are 11 human faces hidden in it somewhere – How many can you find?- 8 or more is very perceptive – Good Luck!

Can you read the message here? You may want to try moving further away from your monitor to read this more clearly 😛

If you stare at the hole in the center of this image long enough, you kinda feel the motion somewhat of being sucked into the middle.

Study the drawing above – What do you see at first glance? – An old man with a crown of ivy leaves on his head or do you see two lovers kissing underneath an arch of ivy?

“The Water Mill” – Do you get the sense of it spinning slowly clockwise?

What does this image look like to you? Could it be a steep mountain waterfall – or maybe a ghost invasion – or perhaps an ancient civilization?

Look closely here – Do you simply see a woman strolling towards a bridge or an intense looking man’s face? You may need to move away from the screen to focus better.

Look closely at this creative mousepad – Do you only see a Hispanic man on horseback with a woman shrouded in a body covering on the ground or do you see an old man looking to the left with balding white hair and beard to match?

How many people can you count in this pic? — Wait about 10-15 seconds and count again
