Songs About Feeling Lazy or Wasting Time

Ever have one of those days that you simply feel unmotivated?  Maybe wanting to escape the everyday rat race of  being on the go all the time? Wanting to sleep in , turn off the constant noise and interruptions of everyday life (such as work, school, TV, radio, the internet, the spouse or significant other, the kids, the parents, the family pet – you get what I mean). Or maybe you’re just a slacker or downright lazy? Go Ahead – Admit it – we all get to feeling that way occasionally… some people actually more than others! 😛 And it’s OK and even healthy as well as therapeutic to be that way once in awhile, as long as it’s not an everyday lifestyle. It can help you relax, relieve stress and even rejuvenate.

Well, if this is the mood you just happen to be in at the moment, you’ve come to the right place to find some tunes to help give credibility to your thought process 😛 Sometimes it can be fun to channel an apathetic or lethargic mood into ‘something productive’, so to speak. You can even create your own personal soundtrack or mp3 playlist to this LAZY theme. The following list gives a whole array of ‘being lazy’, ‘doing nothing’, ‘slacking off‘ and ‘wasting time’ songs to choose from. With some of these songs you may have to put blinders on and totally ignore what the song is actually about – After all, listening does require some motivation 😛 – deciding to include the song based on it’s title alone.

Feel free to add your own favorite lethargic lyrics, tired tunes, melodies of malaise and sleepy song choices in the comments at the bottom of this post.

Turn off the lights, pull down the shades and enjoy……….
